February 10, 2012 - Diane and I are in need of some assistance. We do not speak about money or push hard for it when we share what we are doing.
We are trusting God to provide. But we are also aware that if people do not know of needs, they cannot help either. We have just been informed that we did not finish 2011 in the black for our personal support. There are many
reasons or excuses that we could give as to why we were short – People’s income and the tough economic times have played into it. Why we are only finding out now – well our mission was changing the way it records giving and we are just now getting a clear report as to what giving came in and when. Regardless of how we arrived at where we are – we are here now and it is from here that we will move forward.
The Bottom line is that we were about 20,000 short for last year(2011) - Which means if giving stays the same we will be about 25,000 short for this year. That is about 45,000 over the two years. That is a hunk of change no matter how you look at it. But it is not so big that we with God’s help can’t overcome.
That is where Project 12☐ (Squared) comes in. If individuals or families could give $12 more a month for the next 12 months it would increase our annual giving by $144 per giver – if we had 300 people/families doing that it would be $43,200 and go a long way toward bring things in line with what we are doing.
$12 a month is less than a specialty coffee at Starbucks a week. $12 is only about 2 Value Meals at McDonalds a month. It is very doable for most families/individuals. And we would like to challenge you to think and pray about helping us with this need.
Our email goes out to over 600 addresses a week and many are then forwarded on to many others. So we do not really have any idea how many folks read and pray for the ministry in Bulgaria. So that means about half that get this would have to contribute to make it happen.

We do all that we can to use what we are given in the best way possible. Most is invested in touching people and equipping them to serve. We think this is a great way to invest what God has given us.
For all of you who already give Thanks – keep giving as without the gifts we could not stay here and do what we are doing. If you could encourage others to give, we would be so grateful and lives will be changed for eternity! WE believe and know that.

But also know that the we would rather focus our time and energy with the needs in Bulgaria and not with fundraising elsewhere.
