What does make this unusual is the amount of snow in the Valley, where we live. Most of the time if we get snow it is at night or early morning and it melts the next day – but this spring time storm dumped a lot of snow over a couple of days and it did not melt but kept adding to it
(Got a photo of 3 trucks coming in to town)
Petrich does not have a lot of equipment to move snow (since it doesn’t get that much) so much will stay where it is until it can melt. (Good thing we have no travel plans outside the city this week. In town we can walk to get what we need. Here are some pictures with the snow and paths during the snow fall. A Winter Wonderland.
(we see the neighbours dog enjoying the snow)
