December 12, 2019 – If you have been following our adventure you will know that upon arrival back to Bulgaria this time we downsized and moved into a smaller place. When we left in July to go stateside we move all of what we thought we would need to a storage room at the church.
When we got back the apartment was not quite ready so we had to wait a few days but were then able to move into a totally remodeled place.
When we arrived in Bulgaria 13 years ago we rented a place that we could not only live in but also begin ministry out of – so it was basically a 3-bedroom place with a large kitchen and living area. Now that ministries have their own meeting locations we are not using our place for the same kind of ministry and so to have that much space didn’t make sense.

One of our friends who had an upstairs apartment that was free but not updated was an option. We knew our friend wanted to fix it up and rent it out so we asked her if that was still the case. We agreed to take the place if it was modernized and then left for America

We are back and other than a few days delay are in one of the nicest places we have ever lived. Smaller, which is an adjustment but perfect for our next phase of ministry (more on that in weeks to come).
